It also comes with a booster, which increases voltage output for stronger performance, and a rebuildable dripping atomizer (RDA) with adjustable airflow for rich vapor production.

How the Booster Works in Vertex Mech Box Mod

1. Base Setup: Parallel Only

• The Vertex runs on 4 × 18650 batteries in parallel.
• Parallel = all positives connected together, all negatives connected together.
• This means:
  
• Voltage stays at 4.2V max (same as a single cell).
• Battery life (mAh) and safe amp limit are multiplied ×4 → safer for low-ohm builds
  
  

2. Role of the Booster

• The booster is an add-on circuit/module.
• Its job is to take the 4.2V from parallel batteries and step it up to a higher voltage output (e.g., 6V, 7.4V, or more depending on design).
• Think of it as a mini voltage transformer inside your vape.

3. What This Means for Vaping

• Without the booster → you’re vaping at 4.2V max, good for normal mech builds.
• With the booster → you get higher voltage = hotter, denser vapor, more wattage even on higher-ohm coils.

Example:

• 0.3Ω coil at 4.2V (parallel only) = 14A draw, ~59W output.
• 0.3Ω coil at 8V (with booster) = 27A draw, ~213W output (very powerful!).

4. ⚠️ Safety Reminder

• The booster doesn’t add safety features — it just increases power.
• You must still understand Ohm’s Law and know your coil resistance before firing.
• Always use high-drain, authentic 18650s (30A rated).
• Never run torn or mismatched batteries.
